Discovering Sisters :)

Avraham Tzvi is growing up. For the past few months he has tolerated the girls' attempts at "loving" him. You know, being pulled at hugged or "I'm giving him a cuddle", pushed over "I was playing with him", having toys snatched "oh I'm just giving him...." having food shoved in his mouth (or out of his mouth) etc. He's tolerated it all very well, usually with a smile, sometimes with a small groan. Lately though, he just lights up when they come home. He has such joy, starts wiggling and going towards them. This started about 2 months ago. Even more recently, he's trying to engage them. It's so cute. He'll be playing with a block and try to give it to one of the girls. He's pulling things out of the toy kitchen and looking for them for approval. He starts conversations with them "babble babble ga ga"

I'll try to get some pictures later when the girls come home, I just wanted to write it up before I forgot everything. The past year has just flown by. I should have started a blog sooner!

Spreaking of Birthdays...

Avraham Tzvi's English birthday was the day of Nechama & Rena's party. In honor I gave him a cupcake with the "1" stuck in it. His Hebrew birthday isn't for a couple of weeks. It's on a Shabbot so we will probably do a kiddush in the house. I can't believe my little baby is turning into a big boy!

The Party

We made a nice party for the twins. Unforgettably I was so busy I only got like 3 pictures. They had about 15 of their friends over and we did make your own pizza and make your own cupcakes. It was really a nice party, I just wish I had gotten a few good pictures. Oh well, there is always next year :)

I think Rena's had enough birthday to last her for a while. It was an exciting week, and now they are officialy five :)

The girls are now officially five!! They had their party in gan last Friday (their English B-day). We celebrated on Sunday (their Hebrew B-day) and Tuesday will be a party with their party with friends (if they are feeling better! Poor Nechama is still sick :( )

I really need to work on my PSP skills again if I ever want a picture of all four looking decent. Thank goodness for digital cameras. I couldn't imagine taking so many with film and hoping to get one that looked presentable.

He's Becoming a Person

One who knows what he wants! And what he wants is the DVD cabinet. I don't find it surprising, maybe I'll try to dig out pictures of the others poking around in there later in my free time.

He was MAD. I am going to be in for a fun time with that one, huh? He gave me such a scream when I closed the cabinet, then he gave me one more look to let me know yeah, he's MAD.

Rain Rain YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have had a dry, warm, and beautiful winter here, but really, we need the rain! I woke up about 4am to a sound I haven't heard in ages. Sure enough, it was teeming out. Here is the view from my playroom window this morning:

Today is election day here so the schools are closed and everyone is off. I was going to take them to the zoo, but a nice day at home sipping hot coco and looking at the stormy weather seems like an even better plan :)

Today is Tu B'Shvat, the birthday of the trees. We eat new fruits and old fruits and dried fruits. It's a fun holiday. Yesterday the girls came home from gan with little men made out of dried fruits and an orange.

Poor Baby :(

I don't remember the last time she fell asleep in the daytime. She really doesn't feel good :(

Oh What a Night!!!

Ugg. So Rivka is sick :(

She was fine yesterday. Last night she felt a bit warm so I took her temp, sure enough a fever. Then I had to weigh her since I have no clue what she weighs :x. She weighs 30 lbs even. Of course the other 2 wanted to be weighed. Rena also weighs 30 lbs LOL. Nechama weighs in at 34. I think my kids will be in carseats until they are 12.

So about the night.... good news, the baby slept wonderfully. Of course Rivka slept horrible since she wasn't feeling well. So the one night my baby slept from 10pm - 6:30am I was still up every hour on the hour. Oh, and Rena was up like 3x too, what's up with that?

Needless to say, I am tired. Rivka is home. She is on her medicine high and driving me crazy. Looks like it's gonna be a FUN day :)

He's getting closer to pulling up. I guess soon I'm going to have to stop calling him my "little baby boy."

That yellow car is remote controled. It's a good thing it comes with an off switch because it seems to be on the same frequency as every other remote thing I own. The other day I am turning on the heat and hear "vvrrmmm, vvrrmmm." Another time it was the channels on the television. Every time I switched a channel I heard the wheels spinning. I thought I was losing my mind.

Their favorite subject is taking his afternoon nap. When he wakes up we are off to another day at the park. Have I mentioned the weather is BEAUTIFUL here lately?

What can I add, yesterday was just a beautiful day. We all went out to enjoy the gorgeous weather.

He's a Real Israeli Now

He's had bamba. Yes, it's peanuts. Yes, I know I should put off peanuts forever. We don't have allergies in the family B"H so I wasn't so worried, but I wasn't going out of my way to give it to him. Rena brought home a package from gan and he just zoomed in on it and wouldn't give up, so I let her share a piece or two.

Holy Banana

Have you ever seen a conjoined twin banana? Neither had I until last Friday.

Seriously, is that weird or what? One peel, big dent in the middle, two bananas joined together.
