Such a Nice Day!

It was so beautiful yesterday that I decided to take the baby on an outing to the park instead of my normal exercise video when he's asleep. So I packed him up into the stroller (he was so excited, the kid gets giddy when I put a coat on) and we walked down to the park where my friend brings her day care group. Might as well get a social outing for both of us. He loved watching the other kids. He's interested in everything now and it's so cute. I just love this stage!

Oooh, dirt!

On my fingers!!!

Fun to crawl in!!!!

A slide!!

Not the best way to come down (yes, I caught him)

Safely at the bottom.

Back home.

He was so tired. This was after we took a 15 minute walk home. We went back out to pick up Rivky and then he took a nice 2 hour afternoon nap.

Mmmmm Lentils

My poor guinea pigs...errr kids. I keep trying new recipes on them the other day it was Lentil Burgers. They actually came out pretty good.

A cup of lentils, 2 cups of water, boil & simmer about 40 minutess (in stock is extra yummy). Then I added 2 eggs and breadcrumbs (sorry no exact amounts, it makes a stiff dough). Gathered by hand and pan fried about 3 minutes on a side. First critic was overjoyed...

but he's also the easiest to please.

The girls would only try it with ketchup. Anything is better with ketchup, right? Rena told me "right Ima without ketchup it's yucky and with ketchup it's yummy?" Nechama wouldn't try at all but 3 out of 4 ain't bad.

The Last Birthday Post

At least until Rivka's this summer.

Avraham Tzvi's birthday was last Shabbot. Since his birthday was on Shabbot, we decided to do a little kiddush. My friend made another beautiful cake, and we severed cake, some snacks, and some pastries. It was a very nice little party. By all counts he's officially 1, but he's still my BABY.

Purim

Was a nice busy day. I didn't even get a picture of the baby in his costume, I'll have to redress him up another time. I made a simple Mishloach Manot of Challah, egg salad, tuna salad & cucumbers. I threw in some tea to round out the platter. They came out very yummy if I do say so myself, and I think they looked very nice.

Here are a few more pictures of the girls dressed up. They went to the park yesterday in their costumes to ride bikes but I didn't get any pictures. I was busy cleaning up the Purim Madness.

Purim is Coming

Purim isn't until Tuesday, but today is the last day of gan before a 3 day mini vacation. Today the girls go off wearing their costumes. Here are just a few pics.

They were getting ready, so not the best pictures. I'll get more in the next few days.

Oh Where Do They Get the Energy???????

This has been their favorite game for months. I finally got it on video :)

Yes, they are singing a Chanucha song (about spinning). No, it is not anywhere near Chanucha.
