Purim is Coming

Purim isn't until Tuesday, but today is the last day of gan before a 3 day mini vacation. Today the girls go off wearing their costumes. Here are just a few pics.

They were getting ready, so not the best pictures. I'll get more in the next few days.

  1. My son is supposed to wear a costume to cheider tomorrow (Taanis Ester.) I don't want his real costume that I spent long hours working on to get killed, so I am giving him last year's. I sure hope it fits!

  2. I just took down a whole box of the old costumes for them to play in. There is no school here on Tanit Ester (who knows why?????) I figure worst case scenario they wear one of their older ones on Purim. But they all came back clean surprisingly enough.

  3. I hate to be stereotypical, but they're girls! Although my son personally is very neat and careful, the kids in his class would totally ruin the costume (yank on hat and other accessories.)
The Rebbe doesn't tell them to stop either, because his philosophy is, "They're 4 years old. That's what 4 year olds do."

I guess since they are home made, they are more fragile and I'm more "overprotective" of the costumes. ;)

  4. LOL. Everyone keeps telling me to watch out for the baby, he's not going to be as easy as the girls have been (B"H). My friend recently gave me a bunch of hand me downs for Avraham Tzvi and she apologized some of the pants had been patched a couple of times, but I'll see soon enough what boys are like (B"H!!).
